The second global WHO meeting on skin-related neglected tropical diseases has concluded. Against the backdrop of ongoing global health financing challenges, all participants clearly proposed the need to adopt integrated interventions and strengthen partnerships to achieve the established goals of the 2030 Roadmap for Neglected Tropical Diseases. The discussions focused on integrating interventions for skin-related neglected tropical diseases into national health systems, so as to ensure the sustainability and broader impact validity of prevention and control work. Dr. Ibrahima Socé Fall, Director of the WHO Global Neglected Tropical Diseases Programme, emphasized: "Facing increasingly severe challenges, the fight against skin-related neglected tropical diseases requires coordinated actions. During the three-day agenda, all participants highlighted the importance of establishing a cross-disease cooperation mechanism, which will help effectively implement all recommended interventions for skin NTDs."
